Pineapple Pound Cake

- 1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
- 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 6 large eggs
- 3 c. plain flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream shortening, butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.

2Add pineapple. Add flour that has been sifted with baking powder. Add small amounts at a time alternately with milk.

3Pour into 10-inch tube pan. Place in cold oven. Turn oven to 325° and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until top springs back when touched lightly.

4Let stand for 10 minutes in pan.
