- 2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. sifted cake flour
- 8 eggs
- dash of salt
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream shortening.

2Add sugar, small quantity at a time.

3Add eggs, one at a time.

4Beat well after each.

5Add flour and pineapple, alternately.

6Bake in a large, greased and floured tube pan at 325° to 350° (according to your oven) for 1 hour or until done.

7(I cook mine at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
