  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. Crisco oil
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Cream sugar, Crisco and oil.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add flour and salt.

    Mix well.

    Add pineapple and vanilla.

    Stir in. Pour into tube or oblong pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
