  • 1 small head cabbage (1 1/2 to 2 lb.)
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1/3 c. mild flavored vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper

    Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and rinse and dry it. Remove the core and grate the cabbage fine (this can be done in the food processor).
