  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 egg yolks, well beaten
  • 32 graham crackers, rolled fine (approximately 2 c.)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 egg whites

Directions

    Cream the shortening and sugar.

    Add egg yolks and milk alternately with graham crackers and baking powder.

    Add vanilla and nuts.

    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Pour into baking cups and bake in a 350° oven for 15 minutes.
