- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Sift flour once and measure; add baking powder and sift again. Cream butter; add sugar gradually and cream.

2Add beaten egg, then flour alternately with milk; beat.

3In heavy skillet, melt 4 tablespoons butter; add 1 cup brown sugar.

4Stir until melted. Add batter over skillet covered with pineapple.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
