Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

- 1/4 c. Butter
- 1 c. Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 (20 oz.) can Sliced Pineapple, drain and save
- 1 (6 oz.) jar Maraschino Cherries, drained
- 1 pkg. Betty Croker Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix
- Eggs
- Oil
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Melt butter in 13 x 9 pan in oven. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over butter.

3Arrange pineapple slices and cherries over top, press gently.

4Add enough water to pineapple juice to measure 1 1/4 cups.

5Make cake batter as directed on package, except use pineapple juice mixture instead of water.

6Pour batter over pineapple and cherries.

7Bake 42-47 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

8After cooked, immediately turn pan upside down on a heatproof serving plate.

9Serve warm or cool.
