- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. cold water
- salt
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
Directions

1Make a sponge cake mixture by beating eggs and adding salt, sifted sugar and water.

2Then add flour and baking powder.

3Spread 1/4 c. butter on bottom of cake pan.

4Add 1 c. brown sugar, 1 can shredded pineapple.

5Pour the sponge cake mixture over this and bake in a moderate oven.

6When done turn on a platter, cover with whipped cream.
