Pineapple Upside Down Cake

- 1/4 c. Butter
- 1 c. Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 can (20 oz.) Pineapple Slices,
- Save the Juice
- 1 Jar Cherries, Drained
- 1 Yellow Cake Mix
Directions

1Heat oven to 350 degrees. In 13X9 pan melt butter in oven. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over melted butter; arrange pineapple slices on top. Place cherry in center and in between each pineapple slice,. Add enough water to saved juice to make it measure 1 cup. Mix cake as directed on box, substituting pineapple juice for required water. Pour batter over pineapples and cherries. Bake 42 to 48 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Immediately run knife around side of pan to loosen cake. Place serving plate on top of pan and flip over. leave pan on for few minutes to let all the glaze drip onto cake from bottom of pan. Cool or serve warm, store in the refrigerator.
