Pineapple Whole Wheat Rolls

- 8 oz. crushed pineapple
- 1/3 c. reserved pineapple juice
- 1 c. white flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/3 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 to 2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
Directions

1Drain pineapple and combine the reserved juice with the milk; heat adding brown sugar, oil and salt just until warm.

2Combine the white flour and yeast in a bowl and add the liquid.

3Beat this for 3 minutes on high speed.

4By hand, add pineapple and stir in rest of whole wheat flour.

5Turn onto a board and knead on floured surface, then place in greased bowl; cover and let rise to double and punch down.

6Rest it 10 minutes, then divide in desired roll shape.

7This one suggested dividing into 1/3 and make 15 small balls placing 3 to a muffin cup; let rise until almost double in size.

8Then bake in 375° for 15 minutes.

9Brush with combined honey and butter.
