  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 pt. whipping cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Directions

    Combine flour, brown sugar, melted butter and chopped nuts; mix and spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. 2
    Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Remove, stir and return to oven to bake another 10 minutes. Remove half of the crumbs to be used for topping.
