- 1 c. pinon nuts, shelled
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Mix sugar, water, margarine and vinegar in a saucepan.

2Bring to a boil and heat until the temperature is between 234° and 240° on a candy thermometer.

3Cool and beat in the nuts.

4Drop by spoonfuls onto a buttered pan or oiled paper.

5Allow to set.
