- 2 cups pinto beans mashed
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
- 5 cups flour, all-purpose
Directions

1Add enough flour to handle dough easily.

2Turn onto floured board and knead until smooth and elastic.

4Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size, about 1 hour.

5Punch down, cover, and let rise again until almost double.

6Divide dough into tow portions and shape into loaves.

7Place in greased pans; cover, let rise until almost double, about 45 mins.

8Bake 350F (180C).
