- 1 c. cooked, mashed pinto beans
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cook pinto beans until tender with 1 teaspoon salt.

2Mash beans and mix all ingredients together.

3Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes, then at 300° for 20 to 25 minutes. Shield crust with aluminum foil first 35 minutes.

4Decorate with pecan halves, if desired.
