Directions

1Soak beans all night or at least 3 or 4 hours.

2Put in pot and cover with water; add salt and boil.

3Add cilantro, cumin, cayenne pepper and garlic.

4Add ham, sausage or bacon pieces.

5Cook until done.

6Add water as needed, beans juice should be slightly thick.
