- 1 lb. pinto beans
- 1 lb. diced ham
- 10 little smoked sausages
- 1/2 c. diced onions
- 1/8 c. diced jalapeno peppers
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Soak pinto beans in water for about 1 hour, then rinse. Place all ingredients in a crock-pot and cover with water.

2Cook on high for about 6 to 7 hours or until beans are tender.

3Add more water if needed; stir occasionally.

4Serve with hot corn bread and fried potatoes.
