    Preheat oven to 325°. Split each pita bread into 2 round pieces (whole wheat pita bread has more fiber).

    Cut each half into 6 triangles with kitchen scissors.

    Arrange in a single layer on cookie sheet.

    Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder, if desired. Bake for 8 minutes until chips are lightly browned and very crisp.
