- 4 (6 to 8 inch) pita (pocket) breads or pita folds
- 1/2 c. pizza sauce
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 c. finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
- 4 oz. (1 c) shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Place pita breads on ungreased cookie sheet.

3Top each with 2 Tbsp. pizza sauce, spreading to within 1/2 inch of edges.

4Top each with onion, bell pepper and mushrooms. Sprinkle each with 1/4 c. cheese.

5Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.

6Makes 4 pizzas.
