  • 14 pint milk (just enough to soak bread with)
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon butter (enough to fry bread with)
  • 4 tablespoons honey

Directions

    Soften slices of dry bread (from which the crusts have been cut) in milk.

    Put a little honey on each slice.

    then dip in beaten egg.

    fry in a little butter.
  5. 5
    Serve hot with cream.
