Pizza Balls

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cans pizza sauce
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese (8 oz.), cubed
  • 1 c. or more cracker crumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Lawry's seasoned salt to taste

Directions

    In mixing bowl, combine meat, egg, crackers and seasonings, mixing well with clean hands.

    When thoroughly mixed, shape into balls using about 1/4 to 1/3 cup of mixture for each.

    Place a cheese square in center of each (be sure meat mixture covers cheese).

    Next put pizza balls into casserole dish and bake, uncovered, for 1 1/2 hours at 350°.

    Remove from oven and drain all oil.

    Add pizza sauce over top and return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer.

    Serve hot.
