- 6 c. finely shredded cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Wash the cabbage and shred as for slaw.

2Heat butter in a large skillet.

3Add the garlic, curry powder and salt; saute for about 2 minutes.

4Add the cabbage; cook, covered, until tender, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5Some cooks like to add a cup of canned tomatoes just before the cabbage is done.

6If it seems to stick during cooking, add just a little water.

7Serves 4 to 6.
