- 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
- 2 c. Pillsbury Best flour
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1Brown sausage in skillet.

2Crumble.

3Drain.

4Set aside. Combine flour, cheese and salt in mixing bowl.

5Cut in shortening until mixture is the size of small peas.

6Stir in sausage.

7Add water, a little at a time, tossing and stirring with fork until dough is just moist enough to hold together.

8Shape into balls about 1-inch in diameter.

9Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

10Bake at 450° for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned.

11Serve hot dipped in sauce.
