  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 large chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans tomato soup
  • 3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk

Directions

    Spray a 1-inch side pan (jelly roll or cookie sheet).

    Brown beef, vegetables and spices in skillet.

    As soon as vegetables are wilted and meat loses red color, add the soups and grated Parmesan cheese.

    Cook 15 minutes.

    Prepare macaroni according to directions.

    Drain and air dry.

    Beat together milk and egg.

    Stir into macaroni and spread in pan (greased).

    Cover with beef and tomato mixture.

    Sprinkle 1/2 pound Cheddar cheese on top.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    Let set and cut into 8 large squares.
