- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
- salt and pepper
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 6 to 8 fresh basil leaves
Directions

1Brush crust (dough) with oil.

2Spoon topping over dough. Arrange cheese over pizza.

3Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, 2 to 3 basil leaves and remaining oil. Bake 20 minutes until cheese has melted and dough looks crisp and golden. Sprinkle with remaining basil leaves. Serve at once.
