Ingredients

  • 4 oz. thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder or salt
  • 1 pkg. Lawry's spaghetti sauce, spices and seasonings
  • 1 3/4 c. water
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 10 oz. mostaccioli, cooked and drained
  • 1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    In large skillet, brown pepperoni; drain.

    Add green pepper, onion, mushrooms, olives and garlic; saute.

    Add spaghetti sauce, water, tomato paste and oil; blend well.

    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

    Add cooked mostaccioli; blend well.

    Pour in 12 x 8 x 2-inch casserole; top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
