- 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- 4 c. cooked rice
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. dried onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook rice.

2Brown beef with onion in melted butter in large skillet.

3Add tomato sauce and seasonings.

4Cover and simmer 15 minutes.

5Combine cottage cheese and cooked rice.

6Layer rice mixture and meat sauce in a buttered casserole, ending with meat sauce.

7Sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese.

8Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
