Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Italian sausage
  • 1 lb. Grade A Ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 oz. diced ham, salami, Prosciutto or pepperoni
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. sugar (optional)

Directions

    Cook sausage (remove casing) and remove fat particles.

    Mix Ricotta and Mozzarella together.

    Add sausage, ham, eggs, sugar and parsley.

    Blend all ingredients.

    Place in uncooked pastry shell.

    Cover with crust.

    Make slits to allow steam to escape. Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350° to 375° in a hot oven.
