- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (30 oz.) jar chunky garden style pasta sauce (chunky mushrooms and onions)
- 1 (8 oz.) box spaghetti
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced pepperoni
- 1 pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese (3 c.)
Directions

1Brown ground beef in skillet, crumbling meat as it cooks; drain.

2Add green pepper to meat.

3Stir in pasta sauce; simmer for 5 minutes.

4Cook spaghetti as directed on box; drain.

5Spread half of cooked spaghetti in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

6Spread half of sauce mixture over it.

7Place layer of sliced pepperoni on top of sauce.

8Cover pepperoni with half of cheese.

9Repeat to make second layer.

10Place in hot oven (375°) until cheese melts or becomes lightly browned.

11Cool slightly.

12Makes 10 to 12 servings.
