- 6 eggs
- 3 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla or anise
- 1 c. margarine, melted
- 4 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually.

2Beat until smooth.

3Add cooled margarine and vanilla or anise.

4Sift flour and baking powder.

5Blend into egg mixture until smooth.

6Dough will be sticky enough to be dropped by spoon.

7Bake in pizzelle baker. Makes 60 pizzelles.

8Slivered almonds are optional.
