- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. anise flavoring (vanilla or almond flavoring can also be used)
Directions

2Add as much flour as needed to make a smooth thin batter, much like a cake batter.

3Pizzelle irons are needed to cook these delicious pastries up.

4While still warm, sprinkle confectioners sugar on the top.

5Store in an airtight container.

6Do not attempt to make these on a day that is too humid.
