  • 1 jar sour cherry or cherry jam
  • 1 ounce rum
  • hazelnuts or almonds, toasted and finely chopped
  • 6 cookies ground
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powdered
  • 3 tablespoons coffee strong

    Combine the eggs, oil, flour, sugar, and grated lemon peel; the mixture should be neither too soft nor too firm. If the mixture is too firm, add a few tablespoons of milk.

    Place a spoonful of batter in the pizzelle maker. Repeat this procedure until the batter has been completely used.

    Combine the jam, rum, a handful of hazelnuts or almonds, cookies, cocoa, and coffee.

    Spread a generous amount of filling on one pizzelle and top it with another pizzelle. Repeat this procedure with all the pizzelles and serve.
