  • 3 to 4 bananas, cut lengthwise
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie

Directions

    In an unbaked pie shell, alternate layers of bananas, brown sugar, flour, lemon juice and pats of butter.

    Cover with a top crust.

    Brush top crust with a mixture of egg yolk and water. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
