- 2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. fat
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 6 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Scald milk; add sugar, fat and salt.

2Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

3Mix with enough flour to make a soft dough.

4Knead dough until smooth and elastic.

5Place dough in well-greased bowl.

6Brush with melted butter and cover with cloth. Put bowl in warm place and allow to rise until double in bulk.
