- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Fold butter into dry ingredients.

2Stir in buttermilk.

3Mix well.

4Put on a floured board; pat down until 1/2-inch thick, then cut into triangles.

5Cook in electric frypan at 375°, until brown on both sides.

6Makes 8 to 10.

7Serve with butter, jams or jelly.
