Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans (red)
  • 2 Tbsp. masa flour
  • 1 Tbsp. onions (dry or finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp. red paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano, ground
  • 3 oz. chili pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) water

    Brown ground beef in a

    large skillet or saucepan.

    Drain off excess fat.

    Add tomato sauce, whole tomatoes, kidney beans and water.

    Stir in all ingredients except masa flour.

    Cook on low heat approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

    Add masa flour for thickening, then continue to cook another 30 minutes.
