  • 1 (18.5 oz.) box regular yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 3/4 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding and pie filling
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. commercial sour cream
  • 1/2 c. cream sherry
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1/4 c. poppy seed

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, stirring until just blended.

    Beat at medium speed of electric mixer exactly 2 minutes.

    Pour batter into a well-greased 10-inch Bundt pan or tube pan.

    Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until cake is done.

    Serve warm or cool.

    If desired serve with fruit preserves, applesauce or ice cream.
