  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
  • food coloring (optional)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, except food coloring, in a medium saucepan.

    Heat, stirring constantly, until a ball forms.

    Cool. Knead.

    (I divide dough into several parts.

    One portion for each child and have them knead the food coloring into the dough.) Store in airtight containers.
