Ingredients

  • 2 qt. plums
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. walnuts

Directions

    Wash plums and cover with water in large kettle.

    Cook until tender, cool.

    Remove pits and chop.
  4. 4
    To plums add sugar, grated lemon peel, slices of oranges and lemon.

    Cook together until thick and clear.

    Add walnuts.

    Seal in hot sterilized jars.
  8. 8
    Makes 6 jelly glasses.

    Excellent with beef.
