  • 1 whole Store-Bought Pie Crust
  • 4 whole Plums, Sliced
  • 3/4 cups Sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Ginger (freshly Grated)
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425°F. Defrost pie crust according to package directions.

    Slice plums and place in a bowl. Add sugar, ginger and salt. Mix well to distribute the ginger evenly.

    In a small dish, add butter and flour. Pinch butter into the flour until butter is in small pea-sized pieces and coated in flour. Add to plum mixture and mix.

    Press pie crust into a greased pie baking dish (10-inch size), cutting excess dough from the edges of the pan. Arrange the plum slices in a concentric pattern on top of unbaked crust.

    Bake 25-35 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbling. Enjoy!
