- 1 (12 oz.) jar plum preserves
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. chopped dried red chili pepper or 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Directions

1In a small saucepan, combine plum preserves, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, red chili pepper or crushed red pepper, garlic and ground ginger.

2Bring mixture to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

3Cool slightly.

4Refrigerate in a covered container overnight to blend seasonings.

5Makes 1 1/4 cups.
