  • 16 ounces plum jam (or another fruit)
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons onions, minced finely
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 12 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

    In a saucepan over medium heat, combine jam, vinegar, brown sugar, dried onion, red pepper, garlic and ginger.

    Bring to a boil, stirring.

    If you are not using it right away and make a big batch, use standard canning procedure to be safe.
