- 3/4 cup butter, softened, divided
- 1 cup sugar, divided
- 7 fresh plums (about 1 lb.), sliced
- 2 Tbsp. PLANTERS Sliced Almonds
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1 Tbsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
Directions

1Heat oven to 350F.

2Melt 1/4 cup butter in small saucepan on medium heat.

3Add 1/4 cup sugar; cook 1 min.

4or until dissolved, stirring occasionally.

5Pour into 9-inch round pan; top with plums and nuts.

6Beat remaining butter and sugar with mixer until light and fluffy.

7Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each.

8Blend in extract.

9Add flour and baking powder; beat just until blended.

10Gently spread over plums.

11Bake 40 to 45 min.

12or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

13Immediately run knife around edge of pan to loosen cake; invert onto plate.
