- 1 Egg
- 1 drop of white wine vinegar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Directions

1Check your egg is fresh by dropping it in a bowl of water.

2If it floats it is not fresh and will not be great fro poaching

3Break your egg into a bowl

4Add a drop of white wine vinegar to a saucepan of water and bring to a boil then turn down the heat so that the water is just below a simmer

5Pour the egg into the water in one quick motion

6Cook for 3-4 minutes, checking it after about 2 1/2 minutes

7Remove the egg from the saucepan and dry slightly on kitchen paper

8Season with salt and pepper
