Poached Salmon

  • 2 salmon steaks
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. white wine

Directions

    In a large skillet, over high heat, melt butter and coat the pan.

    Place the salmon, flesh side down and sear (about 2 minutes).

    Turn salmon and reduce to medium heat.
  4. 4
    Add wine, cover and cook for 4 or 5 minutes.
  5. 5
    The salmon will still be very pink inside.
  6. 6
    Serve with a little of the liquid drizzled over the fish.
