- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 egg
- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix lukewarm water and yeast and set aside for 1 to 2 hours. In a large bowl mix boiling water, sugar and Crisco.

2Let cool to lukewarm.

3Add beaten egg, flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Mix all ingredients together and put in bowl with lid on.

4Place in refrigerator overnight.
