- 3 (14 1/2 oz.) cans Italian style stewed tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3 small onions, chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. fresh ground pepper
- olive oil
- salt to taste
Directions

1Prepare polenta according to package directions and in the amount desired.

2Butter a baking dish of appropriate size and spread a layer of polenta on the bottom.

3Pour some tomato sauce; sprinkle with cubed Mozzarella and any other meat or vegetable you are using.

4Add remaining polenta; sprinkle with sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, rosemary and olive oil.

5Bake in a 350° oven until hot and bubbly, about 45 minutes.

6Let rest; cut and serve.
