Polish Lasagne

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger, browned and drained
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 jar sauerkraut (1 pt., drained)
  • 10 lasagne noodles (half cooked)
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Combine soups and water.

    In a 9 x 13-inch pan, put a very thin layer of soup mixture.

    Then put a layer of noodles, 1/2 onion, 1/2 sauerkraut and 1/2 cheese, then noodles, hamburger, onion, sauerkraut and cheese.

    Mix soups together.

    Pour over top.

    Bake 1/2 hour at 350° covered, then uncover and bake another 1/2 hour.
