- 1 large head cabbage
- 3 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 small can sauerkraut
- 3 to 4 slices bacon
Directions

1Core and blanch cabbage.

2Separate leaves and drain.

3Cook rice as usual.

4Fry onion.

5Combine rice, onion, meat, egg, salt and pepper.

6Wrap portions of meat mixture in individual cabbage leaves.

7Layer sauerkraut on bottom of roaster and between rolls.
