Ingredients

  • 8 cubes steaks
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 lg. onion diced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 lg. tomatoes diced (canned tomatoes work just as well)
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 3/4 to 1 cup chutney
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce

Directions

    In a heavy skillet, heat oil.

    Saute onions and garlic until soft.

    Add remaining ingredients, mix well and simmer for a few minutes.

    Fry or grill the steaks separately.

    When done frying, spoon the sauce over the steaks.

    Serve with rice.
