- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped candied ginger
- 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup butter, melted and cooled sugar for muffin tops

The arils will sink to the bottom of the bowl and the membrane will float to the top. Sieve and put the arils in a separate bowl. Reserve 1\/2 cup of the arils from fruit and set aside.
